We were checking the depth of water at the Wenlock river crossing when suddenly first one then two Trumpet Manucodes flew into a tree on the opposite side of the crossing. Unfortunately they were on the wrong side of the tree giving us poor views and they were sadly the only Trumpet Manucodes we saw on the whole trip.
